In Alex Rider: Eagle Strike by Anthony Horowitz, Alex Rider wants Damian Cray investigated, but MI6, Alex's "employer" in the spy business, will get in trouble if they do. Because of this, Alex decides to investigate Cray by himself. In the process of investigating Cray, Alex discovers Cray is going to kill millions of people by firing missiles at drug factories all around the world. Finally, Cray kidnaps Alex and overtakes the Air Force One, where he takes Alex and Cray's minions; a fight breaks out and Cray is killed, and, the world is once again saved by Alex Rider, reluctant teen superspy.
Alex Rider shows many character traits, but he mainly shows bravery. For example, in Eagle Strike, Alex is being shot at with a machine gun, yet he still finds the courage and bravery to dodge and jump down a pipe from the 10th story of a building! Another example of Alex's bravery is when he was captured and thrown into an area based off of a video game, he showed bravery by "cheating" his way out of the area. A final example of Alex Rider's bravery is even as he had been shot and cracked a rib, he continued to fight Damian Cray until Cray died. Obviously, Alex Rider is very brave and valorous.
Those books are awesome!
